Founder, Tech Herfrica| Most Influential People of African Descent 2023 100 under 40
15+ years of experience in developing evidence-based public policies, investment portfolio analysis, results-based monitoring and evaluation, business strategy development & implementation as well as project, risk and organizational change management.
My unique blend of expertise in strategy formulation, project, risk and organizational change management enables me to provide holistic solutions to help governments and organizations move from idea to revenue and impact. Also, my experience in research and results-based monitoring and evaluation enables me to create systems that equip institutions with the relevant framework and tools to track the impact of their strategies and programs.
In the last five years, I have contributed to the development of policies in Nigeria that are being implemented to reduce old age poverty, foster financial inclusion, facilitate access to mortgages by citizens, and stimulate investment activities in the Nigerian financial market.
I serve on the Advisory Board of Organizational Change Management, Iran, where I provide strategic advice on organizational design and change management best practices.
During the course of my career, I served as a student mentor at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and I work actively with the Project Management Institute (PMI), to foster the adoption of project management best practices.
Due to my keen interest in fostering digital equity, I founded Tech Herfrica, which was established to foster the inclusion of women and girls in rural and underserved communities in the digital economy. In this regard, we co-created an e-commerce platform, herlocalmarket.com, that directly connects rural female sellers to domestic & international buyers. We also implement tailored digital and financial inclusion programmes.
I have received several awards, recognitions and commendations for my work, including the 2023 Global Women in Leadership & Business Award.
I am a member of the eTrade for Women, championed by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)
